Grilled Shish Ke-Bob Shrimp
Cooking Time: 10-15 min
Feeds 3-4 people
Ingredients:
Grub Rub® Seasoning
7-8 skewers
2 lbs headless shrimp
1 ea. bell peppers (Red, Yellow, Green)
2 large onions
1 lb whole mushrooms
Note: Feel free to add cherry tomatoes, squash, zucchini,
or jalapenos
Step One:
Peel and clean shrimp seasoning lightly
with Grub Rub® seasoning
Prepare vegetable by cutting them into 1" to 1.5" chunks
Leave mushrooms whole or in halves only
Step Two:
Slide vegetables onto skewers, alternating
around the shrimp
Tip: Skewer the shrimp twice to prevent losing on the grill
Stack the Ke-Bobs on a plate in a pyramid fashion
Season the completed stack and let sit for 5 minutes
Step Three:
Place the skewers on the grill, seasoned
side down over a medium fire
Season the top of the Ke-Bobs immediately
Rotate the Kebobs every 3 to 5 minutes
When the shrimp become white and firm they are ready
Be sure to not overcook. ENJOY!

Grilled
Dove/Quail *Hunter's Treat*
Cooking Time:
10-15 min
Needs 2-4 birds per person
Ingredients:
Grub Rub® Seasoning
Skinless dove breast or skinless whole quail
Jalapeno peppers to taste
Bacon
Toothpicks
Step One:
Sprinkle Grub Rub® seasoning to
both sides of the birds
Slice jalapeno peppers in half longways, removing any seeds
Step Two:
Attach 1 slice of jalapeno pepper to
rib side of the bird with toothpick
Tip: If you like it hot, use a pepper on each side
Wrap the bird with bacon using toothpicks to hold in place
Tip: Bacon will shrink while cooking, use several toothpicks
Step Three:
Using tongs, place birds on the grill
Rotate the birds every 3 to 5 minutes
When the bacon is cooked, the birds are ready
Be sure to not overcook. ENJOY!

Family Favorite
Chuck Roast
Cooking Time: 3 hours
Feeds 4-6 people
Ingredients:
Grub Rub® Seasoning
3.5 - 4 lbs chuck roast
2 large onions
3 - 4 peeled carrots
1/3 cup worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup oil (for best results use bacon grease)
3 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in hot water
Note: For best results use a dutch oven type skillet with
steam release valve lid
Step One:
Smother roast with Grub Rub® seasoning
and set aside
Prepare vegetables slicing onions and cutting carrots into 2-3"
pieces
Use a BBQ fork to drive the Grub Rub® into the roast repeatedly
Lightly re-season the roast
Step Two:
Bring skillet to medium heat, then add
oil
Sear the roast starting with seasoned side down for 1 minute on each
side
Season the top and sides of the roast while searing bottom
Continue searing the top and all 4 sides
Step Three:
Add the remaining ingredients
Add water to cover most of the roast
Turn heat to medium low once water starts to bubble (not boil)
Cover and cook for 1 1/2 hours
Turn roast over, add water, and sprinkle a little more worcestershire
Cook for final 1 1/2 hours
Caution: You may need a spatula to remove your portion
to plate
Table knife not needed, roast will be incredibly tender
